You will depart from your home to Vietnam depending on your flight and departure point.


Upon arrival at the airport in Hanoi, our guide and driver with car welcome then pick you up to transfer to hotel for checking in and relax.

Lunch is on your own account. Dinner is served at local restaurant.

After breakfast, our guide and driver with car will pick you up after transfer you to a full day city tour.

You will go to the historical complex of Ba Dinh Square, where Ho Chi Minh announced the independence of Vietnam on September 02, 1945. Take pictures of outside of the President Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum then walk inside to stand in queue for a visit to the Mausoleum (close on every Monday & Friday and the period of September 03 – October 31 for maintenance).

Visit the President Ho Chi Minh’s House and Garden, Ho Chi Minh Museum (if it is available) and the outside of the Presidential Palace, where heads of states and countries are received (it is closed to public).

Continue to visit One Pillar Pagoda. Then leave for other attractions of Hanoi.

Visit the Ethnological Museum, Temple of Literature, Quan Thanh temple and Tran Quoc pagoda.

Finally visit Hoan Kiem Lake with Ngoc Son temple and walk in the ancient quarter of Hanoi and take a one-hour cyclo or cart drive through the streets of the ancient quarter followed by the traditional puppet show at the theatre.

Lunch is served at local restaurant. Dinner is on your own account to explore the city.

Breakfast at hotel.

After breakfast, our guide with driver and car will pick you up. You will start the journey to Halong by road through the rich farmlands of Red River Delta.

On the way, you will have a short stop outside of Hanoi urban to visit Bat Trang traditional pottery village.

Take a break en route at a special handicraft workshop runs for and by handicapped children. You will also have a chance to see skillful products made by those people.

Enjoy a cup of tea, try the local sweets, walk around or just relax to stretch your legs.

Continue driving to Halong. Upon arrival at a wharf in Halong at around 12:30~13:00, a staff member from the boat will greet and instruct you to get aboard.

Take a brief introduction to the ship and regulation for safety. Check into your cabin.

Lunch is served with fresh seafood while the boat starts cruising into majestic Halong bay, the World Natural Heritage recognized by UNESCO, to see the amazing karts with different formations such as Duck islet, Dog islet, Sail islet, etc.

After lunch, you will visit the Pearl village on the bay.

Continue cruising to Titop Island. You can relax, swim or climb up to the peak of the mountain for enjoying the panorama view of Halong Bay and taking pictures before cruise to a quiet firth.

At about 17:00 ~ 18:00: You can kayak or attend the cooking class (it depends on the actual situation) and watch the sunset over the bay.

In the late afternoon, 18:00~18:30, the boat cruise to the tranquil zone for overnight.

Dinner is served on board with delicious seafood.

After dinner, it is leisure time for film entertainment in the dining room or relaxing in your cabin or sundeck.

From 21:00, you can join the squid fishing with the crew members and the others.

Early risers can enjoy a morning view of Bay’s landscape with a light breakfast served: a cup of tea, coffee, cookies, snacks, fresh fruit. Sitting on the upper deck, enjoy the breath-taking beauty of the rocky islands rising from the crystal –clear waters. The quiet is almost eerie; you can hear birds singing, cicadas chirping ashore and the gentle lapping of the waves against the boat, the perfect soundtrack to accompany the fresh air and gentle breeze.

You can enjoy a morning swim in the fresh water of the bay. Then, return to the overnight vessel for the breakfast served.

The vessel cruises on the bay then you will get on a tender or smaller boat to explore the grottoes approximated 60 minutes.

Return to the main vessel for s short relax and freshening up while the junk cruises back to Ha Long Bay. Check out your cabins.

If cooking course / demonstration wasn’t available on the previous days, it’s the time now. 

At 10:00, boat starts cruising back to Halong city and BRUNCH is served including the dishes you have just made.

After Brunch time, boat check out procedure while the boat arrives at the harbor at about 11:45~12:00.

Our driver with car are ready, waiting for you. Get on car and transfer back to Hanoi.

Upon arrival in Hanoi, dinner will be served at local restaurant with set or buffet menu.

DAY 05: HANOI – HUE (B, L, D)

Breakfast at hotel.

After breakfast, our guide with driver and car pick you up and you will be transferred to the airport for the flight to Hue city – the former capital of Vietnam during more than 100 years which is the World Cultural Heritage Site recognized by UNESCO. Upon arrival in Hue, our local guide with driver and car welcome, pick up and transfer you to hotel for checking in.

After relax time, you will proceed by car with guide and driver to visit the Former Forbidden city (Imperial Citadel), the King’s tombs followed by a visit to Dong Ba market – one of the most famous markets in Vietnam and Hue.

Lunch is on your own account. Dinner is served at local restaurant with Royal style.

After checking out at the hotel in Hue, our guide with driver and car will pick you up at hotel. Transfer to visit Tu Duc and Minh Mang Kings’ tombs then leave Hue for Hoi An ancient city, another Cultural World Heritage Site recognized by UNESCO

Stop over the photogenic fishing village of Lang Co and Hai Van (Cloud Sea) Pass. Enjoy the wonderful view from the peak of the pass.

Arrive in Hoi An, a major Asian trading port in the 17th and 18th centuries. Check in hotel. 

Lunch and dinner are served at local restaurants.

If it falls on the 14th day in Vietnam lunar calendar today, you are lucky to have a chance to enjoy the “Lanterns light up” night or “Full Moon Festival” in the ancient city.

In the ensuing quiet, the streets of Hoi An are at the most romantic sense and the darkness is broken only by jewel toned lanterns in all manner of shapes and sizes. You will see lots of traditional activities and games organized and you can also join them.

Strolling through the lantern-lit streets is like walking into a fairytale. It is all the more picturesque since motor vehicles are banned from Hoi An's Old Quarter.

AM: Breakfast at hotel

After breakfast, you will transfer by car or ride bicycle yourself together with our guide to Tra Que vegetable village. Tra Que is a famous village, which supplies different kinds of herbs to the provinces of the Centre part of Vietnam.  

Once you arrive at the village, take a brief introduction to the history of the village and the cultivation of the vegetables in traditional Vietnamese medicines. Walk around the vegetable gardens and join the farmers in preparing the land and fertilizing it with seaweed from the local lake. Continue doing activities such as racking, wowing, watering greens picking greens and many more traditional gardening activities. Then spend the rest of working the land in the time honoured way. You will follow & do local delicacies including “Tam Huu” dish, Spring roll, Banh Xeo of the pancake of the people from the middle region. Take an even more traditional Vietnamese post-prandial nap before learning how to harvest and wrap the vegetables.

You also have a chance to try a traditional treatment method for your feet by local herbs. 

PM: Go back to Hoi An city centre for taking a walking tour to visit Hoi An / Silk Road Museum, one of the former merchants’ homes, the over 300 year-old Japanese Style Bridge and the handicraft workshop. Enjoy folklore music if you are on time (except Sunday).

Lunch is served at local restaurant. Dinner is on your own account to explore the ancient city.

You will go to the quay with our guide to take a boat trip to visit Thanh Ha porcelain producing village and Kim Bong carpentry village. Return to the city and visit the local market to see the local daily life activities. 

PM: Free at leisure for relaxing at the beach, resort or shopping in town.

Lunch and dinner are on your own account.

AM: Breakfast at hotel then check out.

Guide with driver and car will pick you up to transfer to Da Nang city for a visit to Cham Sculptural Museum. The establishment of a Cham Sculpture Museum in Da Nang was first proposed in 1902 by the Department of Archaeology of L’École Francaise d’Extrême Orient (EFEO). The first building was designed by two French architects M. Deleval and M. Auclair and first opened in 1919 but many Cham sculptures collected in Da Nang, Quang Nam and other places were brought to the site over the preceding twenty years. The collection was begun by French archaeologists and experts from EFEO. Some good artefacts were sent to Paris and others to Hanoi and Saigon museums, but many typical objects were left in Tourane (now in Da Nang). The museum has been extended twice but the character of the original architecture has been well preserved.

After the visit, continue to Da Nang Airport for the flight to Ho Chi Minh City – still called Saigon by many locals. Upon arrive at Tan Son Nhat airport in Saigon, pick up and transfer to hotel for checking in. 

PM: Half day Saigon city tour to visit the former Presidential Palace now called Reunification Hall, Central Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral. Finally, it is free time for shopping at Ben Thanh market or Le Loi / Dong Khoi Streets.

Lunch is on your own account. Dinner is at local or floating restaurant cruising along the Saigon River with music and show.

AM: After breakfast at hotel, you will take an excursion by road to Tay Ninh to visit the Cao Dai Holy-See, centre of the Caodaism Religion which is a syncretistic, monotheistic religion officially established in the city of Tay Ninh, southern Vietnam, in 1926.

“Dao Cao Dai” is the religion's shortened name, the full name is Đại Đạo Tam Kỳ Phổ Độ (Great Religion (of the) Third Period (of) Revelation (and) Salvation). Concerning the term Cao Đài, literally, Cao means “high” and Đài means “dais, as in a platform raised above the surrounding level to give prominence to the person on it”. Figuratively, it means that highest spiritual place where God reigns. According to Caodaiists, the full title was purposefully chosen by God because within it is representations of the Three Teachings: Saint, Sage and Buddha. That is why this religion is a combination of Buddhism, Christianity, Taoism and Confucianism.

Attend the Noon Mass, the most important one among 6 times per day to watch the only colorful religion mass in the world.

PM: Leave Tay Ninh, continue transferring to Cu Chi for visiting an amazing complex of underground tunnels used during the American war.

Upon arrival at Cu Chi tunnel area, you will watch a short introduction overall on the underground tunnels and have an opportunity to go underground to see the intricate pattern of tunnels and learn tactics of the revolutionary forces.

Try the local tea with popular foods used to be the main food during the wartime: Cassava (Tapioca), pressed steamed rice and peanut / sesame powder with salt. 

After more than 1-2 hours walking in the area, get out for driving back to Saigon.

Overnight at hotel in Saigon


Wake up and have your breakfast at hotel early to prepare for a full day excursion to the Mekong Delta. Our guide with driver and car will pick you up at the hotel for a full day tour.

Drive to visit China Town and Thien Hau pagoda in Saigon before leaving for Vinh Long, escaping from bustling Saigon urban sprawl a province of Mekong Delta. 

Mekong River flows into Vietnam with two branches: Upper and Lower rivers. There are twelve provinces and one central government city in the Mekong Delta in Vietnam.

Proceed to Cai Be, a small town located at the Upper River bank in Tien Giang province. 

Upon arrival at Cai Be, take a boat trip cruising along the Mekong River and follow small canals flowing sluggishly between the two banks of luxuriant vegetation to Cai Be floating market, fruit orchards, a traditional family-run brick kiln. Stopover at an island, walk in the country roads to visit the rice paper – coconut candy – pop rice and corn family-run workshops to see how the process of traditional products and the farmer’s fruit garden or bonsai garden.

Take a trial to steer the local boat in the small canals.

Go back to the boat going through the canals to visit an ancient house of the Delta then continue to Vinh Long town on the other bank of the Upper River.

Get on car. Visit Vinh Long country market if time permits.

Transfer back to Saigon crossing My Thuan Bridge – the first bridge over the Mekong River in Vietnam in 2000 and became one of the most famous bridges in Vietnam in recent years. 

Lunch is at a farmer garden with Mekong Delta specialty. Dinner is on your own account.

Overnight at hotel in Saigon


AM: After breakfast at hotel, it’s free time until guide with driver and car pick you up to transfer to Tan Son Nhat airport in Saigon for flight to Siem Reap.

Upon arrival at the airport in Siem Reap, our guide with driver and car pick you up and transfer to the hotel for checking in if room is available.

PM: Transfer to the pier for to take a one-hour boat trip on Tonle Sap Lake, visit the floating village.

Drive back to the city to visit the handicraft workshop and the local market.

Lunch is on your own account. Dinner is served at local restaurant.

You will be transferred with our guide to have a full day tour to Angkor Area, the World Cultural Heritage Site recognized by UNESCO. Visit:

  • The South Gate of Angkor Thom – the Great City, the famous Bayon temple built in 12th century in the centre of the “jungle city” remaining one of the most enigmatic temples of the Angkor group composed of 54 gothic towers decorated with 216 smiling faces of Avalokitesvara.
  • The Baphuon temple lying just to the North of Bayon.
  • The Terrace of Elephants used to be the giant reviewing stand for public ceremonies and served as a base for the king’s grand audience hall.
  • The Terrace of the Leper King, a platform 7m high, on the top stands a nude though sexless statue.
  • The Phimean Akas temple means “Celestial Palace”, dedicated to Hinduism.
  • Visit the small twin temples of Chau Say Tevada and Thommanon, attractive ones in very good condition, built at the same time as Angkor Wat. It’s Angkor Wat style is most easily seen in the style of the carved Apsaras and the shape of the tower

PM: Visit the magnificent Angkor Wat – one of the seven greatest architectural wonders of the world, as a temple and mausoleum for King Suryavarman II at the peak of the Khmer empire in the first half of 12th.

Then got to the Rolous Group - Preah Ko, Ba Kong and Lo Lei temple

In the late afternoon, go to the Phnom Bakheng hill to enjoy the sun set watching.

Lunch is served at local restaurant. Dinner is served at local restaurant with Apsara Dance show.

Overnight at hotel in Siem Reap


Get up early to be transferred by car or Tuk-tuk or drive bicycle to enjoy the Sunrise in Angkor Area if weather is good. Then go back to hotel for breakfast.

  • The Pre Rup, an architecturally and artistically superior temple-mountain. Beautifully carved false doors on upper level, as well as an excellent view of the surrounding countryside. Richly detailed, well-preserved carvings. Traditionally believed to be a funerary temple, but in fact the state temple of Rajendravarman II.
  • The Sras Srang temple, the royal pool is situated opposite the East gate of Banteay Kdei. It is known as the King's bath. It is one of the few reservoirs at Angkor still holding water which was completed during the reign of Rajendravarman in the late 10th century. Sras Srang means "royal bathing pool," and was originally far larger than any pool today — at least 350 by 700 meters. Nevertheless, Sras Srang was modified two centuries later by King Jayavarman VII, who faced the dikes with sandstone and added a beautiful boat landing, Sras Srang is thought to have been a natural lake, which helps explain why it still holds water.
  • The Banteay Srey, loosely translates to “citadel of the women”, but this is a modern appellation that probably refers to the delicate beauty of the carvings. Built at a time when the Khmer Empire gaining significant power and territory, the temple was constructed by a Brahmin counselor under a powerful king, Rajendravarman and later under Jayavarman V. The temple displays some of the finest examples of classical Khmer art.
  • The fabulous Ta Prohm Temple, embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers. This is a quiet, sprawling monastic complex is only partially cleared of jungle overgrowth. Intentionally left partially unrestored, massive fig and silk-cotton trees grow from the towers and corridors offering some of the best “tree-in-temple” photo opportunities at Angkor.
  • The Ta Keo temple, towering but plainly decorated temple-mountain dedicated to Shiva. Known in its time as ‘the mountain with golden peaks.’ The first to be constructed wholly of sandstone, this temple employing huge sandstone bloc.

After the whole day tour, in the evening you can wander in the night market to find some souvenirs or just enjoy the atmosphere of an Asian night market.
