Visit the former Presidential Palace (or Historical Museum), the Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Saigon Post Office, a lacquer ware workshop and Thien Hau Pagoda in the city’s bustling China town. In the afternoon: Excursion to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters during the long struggle for independence. Overnight. Leave Ho Chi Minh City for Vinh Long. On arrival at Cai Be, board a boat to explore the typical floating market of the Mekong Delta. Continue by boat to visit orchards and tropical fruits gardens on islands. Lunch in a famous Bonsai garden. Proceed to Vinh Long Town by boat for transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City.
