Day 2 - Ho Chi Minh City – Phan Thiet (B)

Leave Ho Chi Minh City by road for Phan Thiet. The scenic 200km drive north on Highway One passes through dense rubber plantations. Nearer to Phan Thiet the terrain changes to arid semi-desert with cactus plants and strange looking dragon fruit trees. Arrive in Phan Thiet and check into resort. Free to relax by the pool or on the white sandy beach. Overnight in Phan Thiet

Day 2 – Hanoi (B)

Full day city tour. Hanoi is a unique city with tree-lined boulevard. French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes and oriental temples will give you the unforgettable imagines. Full day city tour with visits to Ho CHi Minh Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, Fine Arts Museum and Temple of Literature, Museum of Ethnology and the Lake of the Restored Sword and the Old Quarter of Vietnam’s capital. Day 1 – HoChi Minh City – Phu Quoc

Early transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport for the flight to Phu Quoc, a sleepy tropical island 45km southwest of the Vietnam. Transfer to resort on arrival. Phu Quoc‘s interior is still mostly covered in dense tropical forest and its coastline is ringed with deserted sandy beach. There are two days free to enjoy this tropical hideaway. Day 2 –Phu Quoc (B)

Free at leisure. The azure blue waters around the island are teeming with marine life and make for good snorkeling. Apart from its unspoiled beaches Phu Quoc is also known for producing the best nuoc mam (fish sauce) and black pepper in Vietnam. Overnight in Phu Quoc

Day 2 – Ho Chi Minh City – Cu Chi – Ho Chi Minh City (B)

In the morning: Half day city tour of Ho Chi Minh, still called Saigon by many locals. Visit the former Presidential Palace (or Historical Museum), the Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Saigon Post Office, a lacquer ware workshop and Thien Hau Pagoda in the city’s bustling China town. In the afternoon: Excursion to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters during the long struggle for independence. Overnight.

Day 01 – Hanoi- Sapa

Leave Hanoi by road for the picturesque day journey to Sapa, in the far northwestern corner of Vietnam. There are many photo opportunities along the way. Visit Black Dao and Flower H’Mong villages en route. Arrive at Lao Cai in the late afternoon where you can gaze across the Red River at China on the opposite bank. From Lao Cai the road winds up the terraced hillsides to Sapa, a former French hill resort and home to some of Vietnam’s most colorful ethnic groups. Transfer to hotel. Overnight in Sapa

Day 02 – Sapa (B)

Morning: A walking tour to visit the busy market where Red Dao, Black H’Mong and other ethnic minority people converge from the surrounding countryside to sell their embroidery, silverware and handicrafts and to buy provisions

Day 3 – Dalat (B)

FULL DAY HANOI - OP 1

Full day city tour of Vietnam’s capital. Hanoi is a unique city with tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes and oriental temples. The city tour includes such sights as President Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and house, the One Pillar Pagoda, the Fine Arts Museum and the Temple of Literature, Museum of Ethnology, the Lake of the Restored Sword and the Old Quarter. HANOI HALF DAY COOKERY CLASS - OP 2

Attend a special cooking class at the Hanoi’s famous Sofitel Metropole Hotel. The morning course starts with a walk, accompanied by the chef of the hotel’s Spices Garden Restaurant, to the local market where participants get a chance to learn all about Vietnamese ingredients. A cooking demonstration follows in the kitchen and everyone has the opportunity to play an active part. After the class lunch is served in the Spices Garden Vietnamese Restaurant to sample all the different dishes prepared during the demonstration. (L)

Day 02- Ho Chi Minh City – Vinh Long – Can Tho (B,L)

Drive to Vinh Long. A motor-boat takes you along the Mekong River and follow small canals flowing sluggishly between the two banks of luxuriant vegetation to Cai Be floating market and local bonsai or fruit garden with lunch. Visit the rice paper workshop, Popcorn workshop, Coconut Candy workshop. Then Back to the shore to proceed to Can Tho for overnight. Check in hotel. Overnight in Can Tho.

Day 1 - Arrive Hue

Arrive in Hue, the former imperial capital of Vietnam. Transfer to hotel. Overnight in Hue

Day 2 - Hue (B,D)

Boat trip on the romantically PerFume River to visit Hue’s nest- known religious site: Thien Mu Pagoda, the mausoleum of former emperors Tu Duc and Khai Dinh and the former forbidden City ( Imperial Citadel) from where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945. Visit one of Hue ‘s many garden houses or explore the lively Dong Ba Market . Royal style dinner with traditional royal music and songs. Overnight in Hue
