DAY 1: YANGON – MANDALAY (D)

Upon arrival at airport in Yangon, Our guide will meet and welcome you. Then transfer to hotel for refreshment before making a connection, then connecn the flight to Mandalay. Upon arrival Mandalay airport, transfer to Hotel for cheking in. Dinner is at local restaurant.

DAY 2: MANDALAY – MINGUN – MANDALAY (B, L, D)

Take a boat trip (about 45 mins ride on the Ayeyarwaddy River) to Mingun to visit 90 tons Bell, Mingun Pagoda and Myatheindon Pagoda. Transfer back to Mandalay.

In the afternoon & proceed city tour of Mahamyatmuni Pagoda, Kuthodaw Pagoda & Shwekyaung, Zegyo market, handicraft workshops & sunset from the top of Mandalay Hill. Lunch and dinner are at local restaurants.

DAY 3: MANDALAY – AMARAPURA – SAGAING – AVA – MANDALAY (B, L, D)

Take an excursion to Amarapura for famous Mahaghandayon Monastery. You can meet with the monk who speaks English and also learn and practice meditation there. You can also witness 1000 monks, having lunch there.

Visit U Bein wooden bridge, traditional silk & cotton weaving workshops. Then visit Sagaing with Kaungmudaw Pagoda (a copy of the Mahaceti Pagoda in Sri Lanka); Sagaing Hills dotted with pagodas, there are over 500 monasteries; Soon U Ponya Shin Pagoda and Ywataung Village – known for its silver craftsmen.

Then proceed to another old capital, Innwa (Ava), a small town close to Amarapura. Visit “Nan Myint” watchtower, “Maha-Aung-Mye-Bonzon” monastery and “Bagara monastery”. And also visit a small workshop where alms bowls are made for monks. Return to Mandalay in the evening. Dinner is at local restaurant.

DAY 4: MANDALAY – HEHO – INLE LAKE (B, L, D)

Transfer to the airprot for the fly to Heho in the morning.

Arrive in Heho, pick up and drive to Nyaung Shwe, then transfer to hotel in lake by private boat. The Lake tour at the rest of the day includes Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, floating gardens, houses, village life of Intha, etc. Lunch and dinner are at local restaurants.

DAY 5: INLE LAKE (B, L, D)

Boat trip to visit on the lake of available five-day market in the morning, Nga Phe Chaung jumping cats monastery (where the abbot has trained all of the cats jumping through the hoops) and silk weaving workshops at Inpawkon village. Lunch and dinner are at local restaurants.

DAY 6: INLE LAKE– “INDEIN” (B, L, D)

Proceed to ancient pagoda complex called Indein. Lunch and dinner are at local restaurants.

DAY 7: INLE LAKE – HEHO –YANGON (B, L, D)

Transfer to the Heho airport then take the flight to Yangon. Upon arrival in Yangon, pick uo and drive to downtown for shopping at Bogyoke (Scott) market. Enjoy sunset time at great “Shwedagon Pagoda”, one of the most impressive Buddhist shrines anywhere in the world. Lunch and dinner are at local restaurants.

DAY 8: YANGON – KYAIKHTIYO PAGODA (B, L, D)

Drive to Kyaikhtiyo, one of the wonders of the world. Upon arrival at Kyaikhtiyo pagoda’s base camp, transit to opened truck (only permissible vehicle) about 1 hour; then walk-up about 45 minutes to the top of the mountain. Visit the Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda and surrounding temples. Lunch and dinner are at local restaurants.

DAY 9: KYAIKHTIYO – BAGO – YANGON (B, L, D)

AM: Visit Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda again; then walk down and drive down on the same way. Back to Yangon via visiting Bago’s Shwemawdaw Pagoda, Shwethalyaung Pagoda, Bago market and traditional cheroot factory to learn the daily life of local people (if time permits, visit “Kyakhatwine” Monastic Education School). Lunch and dinner are at local restaurants.

DAY 10: YANGON (B, L, D)

Full day city sightseeing: Sule Pagoda, City Hall; photo stop at Karaweik Hall  Royal Barge on the Kandawgyi Royal Lake, Chaukhtatkyi – The Reclining Buddha. In the evening, transfer to local China town and the fruit market. Lunch and dinner are at local restaurants.

DAY 11: YANGON (B)

Free at leisure until transfer to the airport for the departure flight.
