DAY 01: YANGON
Upon arrrival in Yangon, you’ll be met & welcomed by your local guide and transfer to your hotel. Check in, freshening up, leave the hotel for city sightseeing: sule pagoda the tallest structure in town & city hall, photo stop at karaweik hall & royal barge on the kandawgyi royal lake, & chaukhtatkyi - the reclining buddha.

DAY 02: BAGAN – MANDALAY (B)
Transfer to airport for morning flight to Mandalay. Arrive Mandalay airport. Transfer to hotel & check-in. then, visit Maha-Myat-Muni Pagoda (the most revered Buddha image in Mandalay). Enroute to the pagoda, stop to observe the laborious process of Gold-leaf beating, where gold is painstakingly hammered out into tissue-thin squares. Continue to Kuthodaw pagoda, known also as the world's biggest book & Shwe-nan-daw Kyaung (the Golden Teak monastery, noted for its exquisite wood carvings), Zegyo market & to handicraft workshops, traditional silk & cotton weaving workshops & panoramic sunset view from the top of Mandalay hill.
Overnight in Mandalay.
DAY 03: MANDALAY – HEHO – INLE LAKE (B)
Transfer to airport for the flight to heho. Proceed scenic drive to nyaung shwe & boat transfer to the hotel in Inle Lake by private boat. Lake tour at the rest of the day including “Phaung Daw Oo pagoda”, one of the famous principal shrines in Myanmar, this pagoda houses five small buddha images, once a year, in end of sep or early Oct. There’s a pagoda festival during which the four buddha images are rowed around the lake in a colorful barge.
In the afternoon, visit to the old Nga Phe Monastery, fondly known as the jumping cats monastery. If time allows, stop to see silk weaving on wooden handlooms, and also visit local blacksmiths workshops, floating gardens, houses & village life of Intha, etc.
Overnight in Inle Lake.
DAY 04: INLE AKE – MANDALAY – YANGON (B)
Proceed more visits on the lake including available Five-day market (if time permits) & then drive back to Heho & fly to Yangon by afternoon flight.
Drive to downtown for shopping at Bogyoke (Scott) market – Yangon’s largest and liveliest market. In the late afternoon, transfer to the great Shwedagon pagod, one of the most impressive Buddhist shrines anywhere in the world.

DAY 05: YANGON (B)
Free at leisure until transfer to the airport for the departure flight.
