Cần Thơ Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge over the Hậu (Bassac) River, the largest distributaries of the Mekong River, in the city of Cần Thơ in southern Vietnam. The bridge is 2.75 kilometers long. It has a 6-lane carriage way measuring 23 meters in width, with 4 lanes for traffic and two pedestrian lanes. It has a clearance of 39 meters, which will allow large ships to pass underneath the bridge. The bridge was inaugurated on April 24, 2010.

The bridge is currently the longest main span cable-stayed bridge in Southeast Asia. The cost of construction is estimated to be 4.842 trillion Vietnamese đồng (approximately 342.6 million U.S. dollars), making it the most expensive bridge in Vietnam.

Cần Thơ City constitutes an independent municipality at the same level as provinces of Vietnam. It was created in the beginning of 2004 by a split of the former Cần Thơ Province into two new administrative units: Cần Thơ City and Hậu Giang Province.

It borders the provinces of An Giang, Hậu Giang, Kiên Giang, Vĩnh Long and Đồng Tháp.

Can Tho is connected to the rest of the country by National Road 1A and Can Tho Airport. The Can Tho Bridge is opened for the traffic on April 2010. The 6-lane Saigon-Can Tho express way is also done in parts from Ho Chi Minh City to Trung Luong of My Tho. The hydrofoil express boat links this city with Saigon.

Cholon (Vietnamese: Chợ Lớn) is the name of the Chinese district of Ho Chi Minh City (the former Saigon), the largest such Chinatown district in Vietnam. Construction of the Da Lat–Thap Cham Railway began in 1908, a decade after it had first been proposed by Paul Doumer, then Governor General of French Indochina, and proceeded in stages. Due to the difficulty of the mountainous terrain west of Song Pha - where the Ngoan Muc Pass rose into the Central Highlands - construction proceeded slowly, requiring several rack railway sections and tunnels to be built. The railway was 84 km long, and rose almost 1,400 meters along a winding route with three rack rail sections and five tunnels.

Giac Lam Pagoda (Vietnamese: Chùa Giác Lâm) is a historic Buddhist pagoda in Ho Chi Minh City, the largest city in Vietnam. Built in 1744, it is one of the oldest temples in the city. It was officially listed as a historical site by the Vietnamese Department of Culture on November 16, 1988 under Decision 1288 VH/QD. The pagoda is located at 118 Lạc Long Quân, in the 23rd ward of Tân Bình district, in the Phú Thọ Hòa region of the city.
