Day 01 - Ho Chi Minh City Arrival
Arrive at Tan Son Nhat airport. Meet and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh
Day 02- Ho Chi Minh City – Vinh Long – Can Tho (B,L)
Drive to Vinh Long. A motor-boat takes you along the Mekong River and follow small canals flowing sluggishly between the two banks of luxuriant vegetation to Cai Be floating market and local bonsai or fruit garden with lunch. Visit the rice paper workshop, Popcorn workshop, Coconut Candy workshop. Then Back to the shore to proceed to Can Tho for overnight. Check in hotel. Overnight in Can Tho.
Day 03 - Can Tho – Ho Chi Minh City (B)
Depart to Cai Rang, take a boat trip to Cai Rang floating market. You also have the opportunity to stop by an island to watch local villagers producing instant rice noodles, a boat builder yard and rice – husking. Drive back to Saigon, check in hotel. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 04 - Ho Chi Minh City – Tay Ninh – Cu Chi Tunnels (B)
Excursion to Tay Ninh for a visit to Cao Dai Saint Siege, center of the Caodaism religion which combines Buddhism, Christianity, Taoism and Confucianism.
Afternoon drive to Cu Chi visit an amazing complex of underground tunnels used during the American war. Back to Hochiminh city. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 05 - Ho Chi Minh City – Da Nang – Hoi An (B)
Transfer to airport for early flight to Danang. Visit Cham museum, then proceed to Hoi An. Walking tour visit Hoi An. Overnight at hotel in Hoi An.
Day 06 - Hoi An – My Son – Hoi An (B)
Half day trip to My Son – the former capital & religious centre of the Champa kingdom. Afternoon, boat trip on Thu Bon River to artisanale villages. Overnight at hotel in Hoi An. (B)
Day 07 - Hoi An – Hue (B)
Transfer to Hue. Boat trip on the romantically Perfume River to visit Hue’s best-known religious site: Mausoleum of former emperor Minh Mang, Thien Mu Pagoda. Visit the former Forbidden City (Imperial Citadel). Overnight at hotel in Hue.
Day 08 - Hue – Hanoi (B)
Transfer to airport for flight to Hanoi. Arrive Hanoi city. Visit the Fine Art Museum (or Historical Museum), the Temple of Literature, the Ethnology Museum. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 09 - Hanoi – Halong (B)
Drive to Halong, sightseeing en route. Arrive in Halong and board boat (or junk) for 4hours cruise. Discover Halong Bay, listed as a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. “Dragon descending to the sea“ as it is known in Vietnamese, picturesque Halong Bay has more than 3,000 limestone islets rising from the clear emerald water, many of them containing beautiful grottoes such as Thien Cung and Dau Go. Overnight at hotel in Halong.
Day 10 - Halong – Hanoi – Lao Cai (B)
Transfer back to Hanoi. City tour: Visit Hoan Kiem Lake with Ngoc Son temple, and one hour cyclo ride or car around the old quarter of Hanoi. Transfer to train station. Overnight on Express train.
Day 11 - Lao Cai – Sapa (B)
Upon arrival in Lao Cai, transfer to Sapa for breakfast at a local restaurant. Visit Ta Phin village. Lying in a hillside meadow, it is home to Red Dzao and Hmong people. A 8-km on the rim of a deep valley, followed by 30-minutes walk take you to so-called rattan bridge & the ethnic Ta Van village which is dwelled by Dzay people followed by a walking visit to Cat Cat village. Overnight at hotel in Sapa.
Day 12 - Sapa – Bac Ba – Hanoi (B)
Walking tour at Ban Pho village then drive to Sapa. Enjoy the picturesque scenery along the way leading towards Sapa, a mountainous area of stunning natural beauty and diverse ethnic minorities. Visit the colorful Bac Ha market (only Sunday morning) full of montagnards from surrounding villages. They dress their most colorful costumes and head to the market to exchange goods or sell self-made souvenirs. After Bac Ha with continue to Lao Cai. Overnight on Express train. (B)
Day 13 - Hanoi – Hoa Lu – Hanoi (B)
Early morning arrive in Hanoi. Pick up at railway station and transfer for breakfast at local restaurant. Transfer to site of Vietnam’s first capital, Hoa Lu. Visit the remaining sanctuaries of the ancient citadel, take a sampan on a river through the rice paddies to the grottoes of the sacred Tam Coc Caves. Enormous limestone karts jut out from the green rice fields giving rise to this place’s other name, “Halong on Land”. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 14 - Hanoi – Departure (B)
Transfer to airport for departure.
