Vietnam entry visa is strictly requested to all foreign travelers with valid passport, irrespective of nationality except passport holders from Japan, Korea, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden and ASEAN countries.
Visa is obtainable at Vietnamese diplomatic missions and the processing takes 05 business days.
The normal visa stamping fee for single entry is US$25 but it can be charged differently depending on the Vietnam Embassy in the specific country.
Travel
permits are only required for trips to off-limit areas such as border provinces,
military bases and remote islands. Getting visa upon arrival at the airport or the border is also available but not encouraged to tourists as it may take time.
