Day 1 – Arrive Ho Chi Minh City

Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City. Transfer to hotel. Free at leisure. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 2 – Ho Chi Minh City – Cu Chi – Ho Chi Minh City (B)

In the morning: Half day city tour of Ho Chi Minh, still called Saigon by many locals. Visit the former Presidential Palace (or Historical Museum), the Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Saigon Post Office, a lacquer ware workshop and Thien Hau Pagoda in the city’s bustling China town. In the afternoon: Excursion to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters during the long struggle for independence. Overnight.

Day 3 – Ho Chi Minh City – Vinh Long (Mekong Delta) – Ho Chi Minh City   (B,L)

Leave Ho Chi Minh City for Vinh Long. On arrival at Cai Be, board a boat to explore the typical floating market of the Mekong Delta. Continue by boat to visit orchards and tropical fruits gardens on islands. Lunch in a famous Bonsai garden. Proceed to Vinh Long Town by boat for transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 4 - Depart Ho Chi Minh City (B)

Free at leisure until transfer to the Airport for onward flight.
