(12 Days / 11 Nights) BBT01
Day 1 – Arrival (Ho Chi Minh City) Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City. Transfer to hotel. Free at leisure. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 2 - Ho Chi Minh City – Phan Thiet (B) Leave Ho Chi Minh City by road for Phan Thiet. The scenic 200km drive north on Highway One passes through dense rubber plantations. Nearer to Phan Thiet the terrain changes to arid semi-desert with cactus plants and strange looking dragon fruit trees. Arrive in Phan Thiet and check into resort. Free to relax by the pool or on the white sandy beach. Overnight in Phan Thiet.
Day 3 - Phan Thiet (B) Full day free at leisure in the resort or on the beach. For the more active, golf is available nearby. Overnight in Phan Thiet.
Day 4 - Phan Thiet – Nha Trang (B) Leave Phan Thiet for Nha Trang. Stopover at Phan Rang to visit the 13th century Po Klong Jarai Cham Towers perched high on a rocky hill surrounded by prickly pear cactus. Proceed to Nha Trang. Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 5 - Nha Trang (B) Boat trip on Nha Trang bay, the 29th in 60 nicest bays in the world to visit some of the nearby islands and there are opportunities to swim and snorkel in the clear warm waters. Seafood lunch on an island by yourself. Return to shore for a short city tour including the Po Nagar Cham Towers, Long Son Pagoda with its enormous white Buddha statue and the lively Dam Market. Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 6 - Nha Trang (B) Free at leisure. Water sports including parasailing, jet skiing, water skiing and relaxing boat trips to the outlying islands are available. Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 7 - Nha Trang-Quy Nhon (B) Leaving Nha Trang for the scenic journey northwards up Highway One to Quy Nhon, 240km away. Transfer to Life resort on arrival. Free at leisure. Overnight in Quy Nhon.
Day 8 - Quy Nhon (B) Free at leisure at the newly-opened Life Resort for relaxing at the beach. Overnight in Quy Nhon
Day 9 - Quy Nhon-Hoi An (B) Drive Quy Nhon for Hoi An. Breaking the journey to visit My Lai Massacre Memorial near to Quang Ngai. Arrive in Hoian early in the afternoon .Hoi An was a major Asian trading port in the 17th and 18th centuries and its architecture and relaxed lifestyle has changed little over the years. A short walking tour of the ancient town centre offers visits to the former merchants’ homes, the over 300 year-old Japanese Style Bridge and the local market. Overnight at a resort in Hoi An.
Day 10 - Hoi An- My Son- Hoi an (B) Half day trip to visit the former capital and religious centre of the former Champa Kingdom. My Son in a lush green valley, are dozen of red brick towers and sanctuaries dating from between the 7th and 13th centuries. Back to Hoian. Free at leisure. Overnight in Hoian.
Day 11- Hoi an (B) Full day free to relax on the beach or by the resort pool or perhaps take a cyclo tour or rent a bicycle to ride into Hoi An to explore the picturesque centre of town with its restored 18th century merchants’ houses. Overnight at a resort in Hoi An.
Day 12 – Departure Hoi an (B) Free at leisure until transfer to the Airport for onward flight. (B)
